Toyota Tundra's Paint Quality

The Toyota Tundra (Gen 2) Paint Problem

Many people on numerous Toyota Tundra discussion forums have complained about the 2007 and 2008 Toyota Tundra paint quality.

They put forward to Toyota that the failure to apply sufficient layers of paint, coupled with the lack of a clear protective coat on a truck does not provide the quality of product that Toyota usually provides, nor the quality of product we were expecting to purchase. We petition Toyota to look into the matter and to respond to each of the respondants in the petition with a resolution. Please detail below your Toyota Tundra Paint Problems and we'll make sure Toyota gets back to you and responds to this Petition!

	"I have a Base Model 2008 Toyota Tundra Double Cab 5.7 i-Force v8 4x4 Standard Bed in black and I love this truck but the paint just sucks IMHO. The orange peel in the paint shows like crazy no matter how clean or dirty the truck is and it really bothers me. I really do hope that this issue gets fixed soon!"
