"I have had an account with etoro since July of 2010 with a deposit of $10k. In about 4 months I made a profit of about 150% and decided to withdraw half my money. After reading some of the bad reviews here and elsewhere i was a bit nervous that i would not see the money but as promised, after 3 days of initiating my withdrawal I received the 15k. I trade a lot during certain periods and etoro has made more money from comissions on my trades then what i had initially deposited so it makes more sense to be honest then to scam people. They do need to improve their chart package. I dont really trade during the news events or with high risk trades so i cant speak of any problems with not being able to close my trades fast enough.."

"every time when login to etoro, even having high speed internet of 1 mbps line, running 3-4 mt4 and others without any problem, etoro always hanged stopped working, and most importantly when open any trade its not updating the charts and logout, today what had done with me is shown how the cheater company they are, i opend sell usd/cad and i stop was at 1.0045 and just after opening this trade the moment i was in profit the platform simply stuked and when relogin also, no price updating and when i open chart it was showing the current price, the price was at 1.0030 and my stop loss trigged which was at 1.0045 very surprigly, the same trade was going on fxclearing demo and fxopen real account is showing rate of 1.0030 and etoro and they closed my trade, how bullsh*t, so much of slippage always against the customer.

they are targeting indian people mostly, so any one from india before joining keep my word and stay away from this cheater company, the worst ever."

Our conclusion

As you can see there is a big difference of opinion. But how do you know which review to believe? There is always going to be someone with bad opinions about anything. Maybe someone who lost a lot of money or someone who had no idea of what they was doing. When we look at the second 1 star review we can see that he says they are targeting people in India to scam. This is very unlikely, A scammer would not care where you came from. If You are unsure about a Forex broker then do as much research as possible, but don't let people put you off too just because they have a bad opinion. If you are unsure but decide to invest make sure you only invest the bear minimum to start off with.
