As Fred Fiedler and Martin Chemers explained in the book, Improving Leadership Effectiveness, "The quality of leadership, more than any other factor, determines the success or failure of an organization."

An organization's growth is indeed steered by those who are at the helm. They can be compared to the propellant that fuels the engine of the organization to zoom ahead. They are instrumental not only in the creation of a future-oriented vision but also in ensuring that the entire organization is sold to the dream and galvanized around it.
